What happens at the meet & greet
It happens at your home, and there is no obligation at the end of it. It is free in Downtown, the West End, Coal Harbour, Yaletown and Gastown, and there is a small fee outside downtown.
- You meet the person who will actually be caring for your pet. Not a rep and not a stranger who turns up later. Every caregiver meets you and your pet before they ever work with them.
- Your pet meets us on their own turf. Seeing how they behave at home tells us far more than a phone call ever could, especially with anxious or reactive dogs.
- We go through the details. Feeding, medication, walk routes, your vet's number, how they are with other dogs, what they do when they are unsettled, and anything else worth knowing.
- We sort out access. Keys, fobs, building entry, concierge instructions, alarm codes, and where everything lives.
- You decide afterwards. If it is not the right fit, you say so and nothing goes ahead. We would rather tell you straight away than take a booking we are not right for.

Quick answers
How fast will I hear back?
Within one business day, and usually sooner. If your dates are tight, say so in the form and we will move faster.
How far ahead should I book?
As much notice as you can give us. Christmas, spring break, and summer fill up months in advance, and we take a limited number of bookings so every pet gets proper attention.
Do you take last-minute bookings?
Sometimes. It depends on who is free and whether we have already met your pet. Ask, and we will tell you honestly.
What if my pet is anxious, reactive, elderly, or on medication?
That is a lot of what we do. Tell us the honest version of your pet in the form and we will tell you straight away whether we are the right fit.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the service, the length of the visit, and how many animals. Wedding packages are priced on the weddings page, and we quote everything else after the meet and greet so the number is real rather than a guess.
